Document Production Technician/WP Operator - Colchester

The are three vacancies for Document Technicians (WP Operators) on evening shifts. The available working patterns are:

x1 full time (Mon to Fri) on the 4pm - Midnight shift
x1 full time (Mon to Fri) on the 7pm - 3am shift
x1 part time (Mon/Fri OR Thurs/Fri) on the 4pm - Midnight shift

The roles will involve typing new documents (either from manuscript or audio dictation), conversion of client documents into House Style and/or amending existing documents in line with drafts provided.

As a member of the DPU, you will work as a team and assist other members of the department. A minimum amount of day to day administration (such as scanning, telephone handling and updating workflow systems) will also be required.

Advanced Word, as well as basic Excel and Powerpoint skills are a pre-requisite. Accurate typing is essential and experience in the field of document manipulation will be a distinct advantage, although extensive training will be provided in all templates and House Styles.

The successful candidates are likely to be flexible team players, committed to providing a quality service, with a desire to learn new skills and assist others.
