Job Description
The core activities of this post are providing configurations and end of line testing of electrical assemblies and PCB's. The post holder will be expected to work to company procedures and maintain computerised records.
Training will be given PAT testing of finished products as this will also be a requirement of the post.
The post holder will have opportunity to gain a technical understanding of the finished products and develop their skills in fault diagnosis of electronic controls applied to state of the art print finishing equipment.
Technical:
1. Have familiarity with electronic components and an ability to interpret circuit diagrams.
2. Have an appreciation of electronic controls that we use switches, indicators, sensors and motors.
3. Have experience at fault finding and soldering PCBs and using a multimeter and oscilloscope.
4. Have some computer skills - Microsoft excel is used to store test records.
5. Have the ability to recognise electrical hazards and ensure work is performed safely.

General:
1. Be self motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
2. Be able to prioritise your daily tasks to match the needs of the production team.
3. Be good at keeping accurate records and updating them regularly.
4. Be willing to learn to follow company procedures.
5. Be keen to improve the quality of the products by reporting any problems you find.
People:
1. Happy to work independently but also join in with the rest of the team.
2. Happy to communicate via phone and email as well as face to face.
3. Happy to provide feedback to help others improve the quality of their work.
4. Happy to ask others for assistance.
