Our Client, a household brand name based in Middlesex currently investing heavily and diversifying their services has an excellent opening for a Finance Analyst. The role is a rare mix of responsibilities reporting to the Head of Investor Relations and Group FC you will be involved with: production and maintenance of investor consensus; develop and maintain models for key financial data and KPIs; regularly review the shareholder register and liaise with brokers to understand key movements; assist in the preparation of various company reports to the external market such as the Interim Management Statement, Half Yearly Interim Announcement, Year-end Preliminary Announcement and the Annual Report and Accounts; interact with operational management on a regular basis to keep abreast of business developments and how these could impact external shareholder reporting; support the Group Finance team in the annual plan and quarterly forecasting process; provide commentary and analysis on the performance of the business as a whole and the various divisions/products; establish the weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual data requirements within the Group Finance function and ensure that these are managed and organised to optimum levels; develop and monitor management reports and metrics to evaluate performance of a project/division; undertake a variety of other ad-hoc data management projects. To apply for the role you will have a Graduate/post graduate degree in finance and be a fully accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA);You will have Advanced skills in financial modelling (Excel) and presentation skills (Powerpoint); excellent communication skills are a must; experience of presentation preparation, research, due-diligence and review of financial statements; proven ability to implement process improvements; proven ability to prioritise own time (high degree of self motivation; ability to influence and build relationships.
