Title: Castle Director

Role: An opportunity to lead one of the most important restoration projects in Wales - Cardigan Castle - Birthplace of
the National Eisteddfod
Job Purpose:
To manage the affairs of the Trust during the construction and operational phases of the project.
To lead and give strategic direction to the project - ensuring that all key milestones are delivered upon
To oversee the 11 million budget and implementation programme
To liaise with key stakeholders including funding partners, Ceredigion County Council and to engage with the wider
community.
To establish Cardigan Castle as a landmark heritage attraction in Wales
