Our Client is looking to add a Outstanding Account Manager to their growing team and are looking for someone that fits the following criteria;
Account Planning & Management
*Responsible for the day-to-running of accounts and manage workloads across multiple accounts
*Take ownership of billable time targets for self and reports, and if non billable tasks are impeding on billability, flag to their clients where appropriate
*Support the clients in the tactical implementation of the agreed PR programmes to deadlines, monitoring the delivery of agreed work and matching client expectations
*Work with external service providers as directed by our client
Media Relationships within the UK and internationally
*Ensure relationships with key journalists representing client market sectors are established and maintained
*Be proactive in identifying opportunities to meet with journalists to foster relationships and discuss with Account Director
*Develop relationships to improve pitching success and coverage output in target media
*Present the professional face of the company to the broader PR and technology marketplace particularly through media relations
Client Relationships
*Establish relationships within client organisations including members of the PR and marketing teams, key spokespeople, sales teams and other members of the internal PR buying unit
*Manage and nurture specific relationships as agreed with Account Director
*Ensure all client queries are managed and dealt with on a timely basis to maintain client satisfaction
*Demonstrate creativity within PR activities ensuring pro-active approach to client's needs and wants
Client Account Growth
*Maintain an in-depth understanding of major technology sectors relevant to their client base, and proactively invest own time in researching new emerging technologies and marketing disciplines/strategies
*Demonstrate a detailed understanding of the client organisation, its competitors and market sector leading to effective communications strategies, tactic and results
*Working closely with the Account Director, assist in the development of accounts through knowledge and creative ideas
