SQL Server Database Administrator DBA required for a leading organisation based in Solihull. You will have a strong background in SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA), Installation and Configuration, and ETL.


THE ROLE:

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading organisation within an established MIS team working as a SQL Server Database Administrator DBA. Not only working on SQL Server, the organisation is also trialling new technologies and you will be able to work on different Microsoft technologies, including the latest SQL Server versions.

Your main responsibilities as the go-to SQL Server Database Administrator DBA are:
* Installation and Configuration
* Backup and recovery implementation
* TSQL, query and stored procedures
* ETL
* Performance tuning and monitoring
* Partitioning
* working within the MS BI stack (SSIS, SSAS)


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

For this SQL Server Database Administrator DBA role, you must have:
* SQL Server 2005 DBA experience
* Administration, Installation / Config skills
* Good SSIS / ETL experience
* Excellent communication skills

Solihull, West Midlands, commutable from Birmingham, Warwick, Redditich, Royal Lemington Spa or Coventry.


SALARY:

£30-35k basic + benefits
