Operational Services Marketing of all aspects of the Services portfolio life cycle across the B2C market for the defined
portfolio on an EMEA and UK basis, supporting also the product centric services for which Product Marketing take a
driving role.
Life cycle management includes:-
* Customer and competitive intelligence into Services development
* Successful launch development on a European basis and execution on a UK level
* Knowledge/training and support for field sales
* Management of portfolio to generate profit and revenue growth, including service offer retirement
Success will be defined through growth in sales, contribution of the portfolio to profitability and the integration of
services into Canon propositions.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Defines Canon's European B2C service portfolio and propositions in support of the Consumer Imaging Group (CIG) with a
pan-European approach and contributes to the development of Services Marketing capabilities in NSOs.
Collaborates with Marketing Strategy and the S&S Management team to help assure alignment of services propositions and
business development with the company direction & objectives
Supports the business development of traditional maintenance services and also support services for the indirect channel
Works with key departments and stakeholders to ensure the effective launch, implementation, management and selling of
services, and is responsible for the specific launch of services within the UK operation.
Responsible for delivery of the operational marketing goals, objectives & KPIs (qualitative /quantitative).
Responsible for the planning for, and creative briefs of, the full range of Services Marketing deliverables, and ensuring
delivery via appropriate channels.
Supports the budgeting process to assure S&S targets are identified, recognised by the business and supported by Sales
channels and associated pay-plans.
Investigates, builds business cases for and supports actions in areas where additional opportunities for service revenue
and/or profit can be created, in a competitive market context.
Actively monitors and updates service pricing framework through understanding of market, in collaboration with Country
Services Marketing colleagues and the European Marketing Teams.
Works with channel marketing and L&D teams to develop effective sales learning and tool for the selling of services.
Develops incentives and campaigns in the Canon community to drive service revenues, profitability and support the
business strategy.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications - a degree (Business/Marketing preferred), CIM Diploma
Experience
- Demonstrate a solid track record in B2C Marketing, preferably in the area of Services (Product Marketing may be
considered)
- Sales experience desirable
- Good understanding of business value drivers
- Good understanding of Services as a business
- Knowledge of FMCG industries desired
