Electronics Engineer, Cambridgeshire
We are looking for an experienced Engineer to join our client's Embedded Systems group, to create, analyse and develop new technologies.
Key responsibilities:
* Development of the electronic and electrical aspects of complex electromechanical products, including systems architecture, detailed design, prototypes, verification testing and approvals
* Work with clients and others in the project team to understand and document the software requirements
* Follow quality procedures and practices
* Present results and deliverables to clients
* Support transfer to manufacture activities
The ideal candidate will have the following profile:
* Excellent academic background
* Solid technical capability in board and product-level electronics design, in particular: microprocessors, interfaces to sensors and actuators, power management
* A track record of developing products through the full development cycle from specifications to transfer to manufacture
* Experience of requirements management, risk management activities such as FMEA, verification testing, EMC and safety approvals
* Experience of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 will be a plus
