Capita, a FTSE 100 listed business and leading BPO provider in the UK are recruiting for a Test Manager to join their
offices based in Derby. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading business on a permanent basis and you will

Our Test Managers are involved in:
* Managing a team of Testers on a day to day basis that are undertaking manual testing in a web based application
environment
* Working as part of a team with delivery focus for both project system testing, UAT support and support of live systems
* Escalating any issues and reporting on the project progress to the relevant project stakeholders as appropriate
* Creating and maintaining Quality Center projects
* Testing in Quality Centre/Test Director
* Carrying out test planning, writing test scripts, preparing the test strategy and reviewing test issues
* Working in the full test life cycle within the following environments: Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), System
Testing, UAT, Regression Testing and supporting BAU
* Taking responsibility and ownership for project estimates
* Providing input into the design, development and delivery of an enterprise level application and working alongside an
external development partner or internal teams
* Maintaining and raising the defect/incident logs, carrying out test results sign off and contributing to post
implementation test reviews

Our Test Managers have strong recent hands on functional, system and system integration testing experience of web based
applications combined with an excellent track record of managing employees. An understanding of the software development
life cycle is key, combined with excellent technical knowledge including experience of testing Oracle and SQL databases.
The Test Managers which have been successful previously in this role have already worked as a Test Manager before or are
Test Lead level and looking for the next step in their career. Ideally, you will also have knowledge of preparing bids
and the presales process.

The successful candidate will have to undergo an enhanced CRB clearance and SC clearance.
