Do you want to work in sport and fitness? If you're a fantastic swimmer, have a great attitude and enthusiasm to be part
of a growing company with good prospects, this could be the role for you.

Leisure Connection is expanding its ever growing team and is looking for 15 candidates to take on roles as a Leisure
Assistant/Lifeguard. Full training will be provided, plus a number of fantastic qualifications so if you're a strong
swimmer and looking to get your foot on the career ladder in sport and leisure this may be the opportunity for you.

Although no previous experience or qualifications are required for the role of Leisure Apprentice applicants must be able
to swim, dive to the bottom of the pool and climb out of a pool unaided in order to be able to excel as a Lifeguard,
which forms part of the role.
Successful applicants will be required to attend an intensive training programme for the first three weeks of their
employment.

The initial training required to become a Leisure Assistant/Lifeguard Apprentice will be delivered by Lifetime on behalf
of Leisure Connection and will cover the following qualifications:

* Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Active Leisure, Learning and Wellbeing Operational Services
* Key Skills Application of Number Level 1
* Key Skills Communication Level 1
* Certificate in Leisure Operations Level 2
* Award in Employment Awareness in Active Leisure and Learning Level 2
* National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ)*Certificate in Swimming Pool Supervision and Rescue
* Customer service/ Sales/Marketing within the LeisureEnvironment

The role of Leisure Assistant is full-time, working 30 hours per week in a shift pattern; so apprentices must be prepared
to work weekends and evenings when required.
