Personal Injury Solicitor Leicester

A specialist Litigation Solicitor is wanted for an exceptional opportunity with the Leicester office of a leading UK law firm. Salary is upwards of £36k depending on experience.

An award winning, top 100 UK law firm my client has a fantastic reputation and heritage in insurance, delivering a high quality and diverse range of commercial services to public sector bodies, large institutions, owner managed businesses and PLCs

The successful Solicitor will join a highly rated legal team defending a varied caseload of civil actions against the police, acting for a client base that ranges from the large metropolitan forces to smaller regional forces. Caseloads will be majority EL & PL matters that may have their roots in Malfeasance claims, Police Misconduct claims and Police discipline issues. On a day to day basis Litigation Solicitors will investigate claims, make enquiries in relation to liability and quantum considering voluminous documents and force procedure, formulating a strategy in accordance with protocol and where appropriate make offers to settle, negotiate settlement or proceed to trial attending CMC's and conferences with Counsel and clients.

Applications are invited from commercially minded Personal Injury litigation Solicitors looking for a quality and challenging caseload and the opportunity to progress their career in a top UK legal environment. Solicitors will have upwards of 2 years litigation experience gained in a top 200 UK legal environment, Employers Liability and Public Liability experience essential, Police litigation and defendant exposure an advantage.
