The primary role of this position is to aid in the delivery of the companies wind development portfolio. Each developer will have responsibility for several projects and their initial responsibility will be in undertaking pre-planning works (landowner negotiations, screening, delivery of planning works and management of external contractors). Post consent the developer will take the project through to the point of installation by undertaking the following; wind monitoring, project design, discussions regarding finance, procurement of turbine and sub-contractor works. In addition to taking forward established sites the role will include the use of available software tools and experience to site finding for new development opportunities.

Over and above the core developer role there will also be a requirement to generate revenue by providing the above wind development works for Clients through consultancy services.

For this role you will have the following skills / experience:-
* Experience in the development of commercial wind projects through pre-planning and full planning works. Ideally larger scale wind farms - 10MW+.
* With your current contact base you will have in-depth understanding of the UK renewable energy market, including all legislation that affects wind development
* Detailed understanding of the full Microsoft Office package and specialist software including GIS and wind farm software (Windfarm, Wind Pro, Wind Farmer)
* Completion of wind resource works to approved bank standards; including screening of wind data, Measure Correlate Predict, wind flow (preferably with associated training) and energy yield assessments
* Detailed understanding of the financial viability of commercial wind projects, with particular reference to the Feed in Tariff incentive scheme
* Experience in taking commercial scale wind projects through post consent development works
* Experience in the development of other renewable energy technologies
* Membership or accreditation from relevant professional body
