At A Glance
To ensure that all training requirements are delivered to legal and industrial requirements. Work in partnership with the planning team to ensure that the training plan is delivered to optimum solution. Provide support to the Crew Training & Support Team Leader.
Ensure the delivery of the training program whilst utilising resources as efficiently as possible. Communicating and working with the Planning/Rostering team to ensure clarity within the operational window, ensuring that any slippage/disruption is dealt with as efficiently as possible. Providing support to the Crew Training & Support Team Leader.
What You'll Be Doing
* Responsible for the delivery of all training requirements to operational crew, ensuring that budgetary restrictions are met.
* To ensure that all training requirements are met and comply to legal & industrial agreements.
* Deliver the best service possible to all key stakeholders.
* Manage the relationship with cabin crew & pilot trainers with regards to Training queries.
* Liaise with Rostering and the Flight Ops Training department to understand the training schedule/footprints and any changes to the plan.
* When necessary, plan and allocate the workload of the Mon-Fri Crew Training & Support Consultant to maximise productivity.
* Amend the training plan and training resources as the flying program dictates.
* Ensure recency/legality reports are run as required and that immediate or corrective action is taken where necessary
* Support the Planning & Rostering functions during the summer months to ensure clarity of the Crew Training program during the winter season
* Track and update the Crew Training & Support Team Leader on departmental spend initiatives and KPI's.
* Attend training briefings/meetings as directed by the Crew Training & Support Team Leader
* Update the Crew Training & Support Team Leader on potential delays to the plan
* Completion when necessary of administration tasks within Crewing/Support function.
* Provide coaching and guidance as required
* All other duties as directed by the Crew Training & Support Co-ordinator
What We're Looking For
* 'O' Level/GCSE education
* Experience within an airline Crewing/Rostering environment is essential
* Experience of customer service
* Understanding of legal agreements would be preferable
* Preferably 2 years experience of working within an airline crewing or operations dept
* Able to assimilate information, determine priorities and make decisions based on sound judgement
* Process and detail orientated.
