My client a highly profitable manufacturing group with several sites around the world are currently looking to recruit a talented mechanical engineer at their purpose built state of the art site.
Reporting directly to the Site Manager the role will involve the management of the maintenance and engineering functions on site including PPM, Projects based work and all technical issues including breakdowns.
In addition to this you will also be involved in the development of the engineering team both professionally and personally, ensuring that the department achieves its short term and long term goals.
The ideal candidate will therefore be qualified to HND or Degree level in mechanical engineering, with a good understanding of running PPM systems and managing new installation projects
Longer term opportunities also exist to take on more responsibility in more senior operational and technical positions at this site and others within the group.
