Our client, a global Financial Services organisation, is currently seeking a Director Technical Advisory, US GAAP (ACA/ACCA). The role: is responsible for advising on US GAAP issues arising in the business and monitoring emerging US GAAP by staying apprised of upcoming developments that could impact the company in the future; leading first-level investigation and review of US GAAP accounting issues and understand and resolve the US GAAP technical requests and queries and provide thought leadership accordingly; contribute in the delivery of US GAAP and Amex policy training for US GAAP users, such as market/business unit controllers, finance centre personnel and others, as required; assist in review of critical US GAAP/statutory GAAP adjustments, primarily for EMEA. The person: candidates will be qualified ACA/ACCA ideally from a Big 4 background, with extensive US GAAP technical experience.
