Trinity Mirror Digital Recruitment is looking to strengthen its internal team with the appointment of a Product Manager.

We now seek a Product Manager to take responsibility for the definition, delivery, management and pricing of this
portfolio and help to plan the product roadmap. This is a uniquely exciting time to join the company as we roll out our

As Product Manager, you'll build effective internal and external relationships, ensuring a better understanding of our
clients' needs. The Product Manager will also enjoy full ownership of the Product Roadmap for their assigned brands and
functions, including value proposition definition and product positioning, feature prioritisation for product roadmaps
and pricing.

Product Manager Duties:
Product Development:
* Product positioning for assigned vertical and horizontal brands and inventory products across TMDR
* Manage the product proposition and roadmap and ensure accurate and effective communication
* Ensure that key clients' needs are properly identified, scoped and accounted for and evangelise to these clients on new
product development
* Ensure that candidates' needs are properly identified, scoped and accounted for and work with marketing to evangelise
new products
* Conduct product awareness training for sales team
New Product Development:
* Work with product development to generate new product/new market ideas
* Recognise new market opportunities for the product and maximise usage and revenues
* Identify target customer segments and develop compelling value propositions to meet needs
* Create high-level briefing documents on new features, market opportunities and client requests for submission to the
Programme Board
Pricing:
* Work with Sales and Finance to ensure appropriate pricing for the product portfolio
* Ensure that prices charged reflect the intentions of the business

Product Manager Person Specification:
* Educated to degree level
* At least two years' experience in Web Product Management, Management Consultancy or Digital Media
* Two years' experience in the Recruitment, Classified Advertising or Media sectors would be advantageous
* Strong influencing skills - able to get the job done without line authority
* Good communication skills - able to communicate complex technical issues simply
* Organised and coordinated -able to coordinate different functions/teams to get things done
* Detailed and analytical - develops an in-depth expertise of owned products and how they are delivered through the
functions of the business
* Highly analytical and commercially and digitally aware
* Knowledge of web platforms and strong MS Office skills, including Excel and Powerpoint
