Support Worker
Wast Hills Autism Service - Kings Norton
£14499 - £17496 per annum

Castlebeck needs good people, with or without experience, to join our teams of professionals, making a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.
In the role of support worker you will encourage and assist the service users in the development of new skills. This may include devising and implementing programmes to encourage more self help or help them develop new ways of coping with life events. These may include general and social skills, accessing community leisure and educational facilities, and support to obtain employment.
Previous experience is not a requirement as training to SVQ Level III will be given. For those who wish to progress further there is every opportunity to do so.
However, if you are someone with experience / relevant qualifications, the remuneration package will reflect this.
Wast Hills Autism Service
Wast Hills Autism Service is an Independent hospital where people with autism are cared for. There are three parts to Wast Hills; the Main House, the Annexe and The Lodge. The service has large private gardens and is in a quiet village near Bromsgrove.
The Main House offers care and support for people whose needs are on different parts of the autistic spectrum. It has 18 bedrooms.
The Annexe gives robust care and support for people with more complex needs. Six people live in the Annexe.
The Lodge supports people with lower support needs including people with Asperger's syndrome. There are four bedrooms at the Lodge.
