The Company
Our client is a financially secure and well respected Facilities Management provider. Due to continued expansion they are now recruiting for a HVAC / M&E Designer based in or around the Staffordshire area to join their team.

The Role
The purpose and remit of the HVAC / M&E Designer role:-
* Working from a brief by client and others and or pre-prepared tender documentation
* Carryout detailed M&E design of complete systems from high end residential through to commercial systems
* Balance stringent technical compliance with best commercial value
* Maintain robust and accurate records of output associated with the sales and marketing function
* Regular internal liaison and reporting will be required to provide updates on workload scheduling, progress and priorities
* Ideally suit someone who has previous experience working for a HVAC / M&E Maintenance company

The Candidate
The HVAC / M&E Designer experience and qualifications:-
* Must have FM Hard services M&E experience
* Need to be mechanically focused with M&E maintenance experience
* Ideally will come from a design and/or maintenance background within the HVAC / M&E industry
* Highly proactive, self-motivated and flexible approach to duties
* Competency in workload management and prioritising to meet strict deadlines
* Capable of working on own initiative and an effective team member
* Ability to survey buildings for tenders and price would be a distinct advantage
* High level of technical and commercial astuteness
* Analyse contracts commercially and technically
* Articulate with good communication skills and must be a team player
* Excellent administrative ability with robust, rapid and accurate data entry capabilities
* Excellent capabilities in MS Excel, Word and Outlook software packages

The Reward
In return, the HVAC / M&E Designer will receive an excellent remuneration package including 45k - 55k salary, plus benefits and there are genuine opportunities for career advancement into management based on performance.
