Solution Consultant / Pre sales "Managed Service" ITIL

Our Client is a leading communications company and provides solutions for FT500 enterprises and public sector
organisations across the UK

Pre sales with strong and demonstrable "Managed Service" experience and ability. This will be underpinned by broad
knowledge of relevant IT technologies (WAN/LAN/IPT/UC/Security),
. Good knowledge across carrier solutions (MPLS, VPLS, Ethernet, DSL, FTTC, FTTP etc) would be an advantage. Core
strength focus is Pre sales "Managed Service" ITIL

Background: Capita, serco, fujitsu, Service Management companies or carrier, BT, Verizon, C&W
Expert in design of managed service solutions - not so much technical but focused around the service offering
:Managed wrap around our clients technologies and carrier services , interaction with the NOC and how to handle in life
issues , skilles at pulling a on site team together , SLA's, - SLG's

A Solution Consultant / Pre sales expert within Managed services acting in a given Technology and Solution area
responsible for shaping customers thinking, capturing the customer requirements and designing and proposing robust,
supportable and fit for purpose solutions that align both with a client's business drivers and maximises our clients
ability to differentiate, within the Managed Network Services environment.

Assist with opportunity qualification, both technical and commercial.
Assist the sales team where appropriate in developing and shaping the customers thinking and understanding of how our
client's solutions can help address his/ her business challenges

* Comprehensive knowledge and experience across a broad range of Managed Network Service Solutions aligned with the
strategic needs of the business -
* Engineering background with a high degree of emphasis on solutions design
* Understanding of engineering and sales principles and practice



* Where required (and agreed with Pre Sales Manager) support the Portfolio Management process in terms of developing and
bringing into portfolio new solutions and propositions.
* A customer facing role that requires a deep understanding of the clients' business drivers and translating them into a
robust, differentiated and accurate technical proposals. A key factor is being regarded as the customers "technical
trusted advisor", by way of an intimate understanding of industry best practice, and its application to supporting
relevant outcomes.




* Individual technical advisor acting as design authority for high value and / or complex solutions to a national
customer base and sales force. The role also will require liaison with 3rd parties and resources in order to achieve the
desired and profitable outcomes of any design.
