Due to continued development and growth within the company, there is now an outstanding opportunity for a Mechanical
Engineer to join our LIGHTNIN & Plenty Mixer business in the role of Project Engineer, working from our new offices in
Didsbury, Manchester.

Primary Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Original design of special rotating equipment to suit customer specific applications involving both conceptual design
and detailed engineering analysis.
- Creating detailed costing to support the sale of special machinery.
- Providing technical support to Drawing Office, Sales and Customers.
- Management of projects to manufacture special rotating equipment and practical management of manufacture and suppliers.
- Conducting product development.
- Ensuring equipment is compliant with all relevant European safety Legislation.

The Candidate

To excel within this role, applicants will need to be educated to degree level in Mechanical Engineering or similar
discipline with a minimum of 2 to 3 years working experience of rotating equipment. You should be able to communicate
well with customers, suppliers and engineers and be confident in managing the demands of a varied workload while
simultaneously progressing multiple projects. The role is office based but will involve some UK and worldwide travel.

Applicants should ideally be familiar with rotating equipment design, application of the Machinery and ATEX Directives,
able to use CAD and conduct stress and vibration analysis to optimise machine design.
