A leading company specialising in the heat treatment of steel & non ferrous parts for the Aerospace and Engineering
industries, a vacancy has arisen at our Birmingham site for an Electrical Engineer to join a small team involved in
servicing and maintaining a range of heat treatment furnaces and associated plant.
The suitable candidate will be required to:
Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing of plant and equipment.
Diagnosing causes of breakdowns.
Installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Skills/requirements:
Qualified to C&G 2361 Part 1 & 2 Electrical Installations or Equivalent with 17th Edition Wiring Regulations.
C & G 2391-10 Inspection and Testing would be an advantage.
Possess excellent fault finding skills and hands on approach to dealing with breakdowns.
Good communication skills, liaising with client departments.
Computer literate.
Experience in the following areas would be an advantage:
Vacuum technology, CAD, PLC programming, Thermal Processing equipment.
