Paralegal/Senior Claims Analyst - FINMAR Market Services

FINMAR Market Services is a new BU within Global Specialties which provides a data gathering and analysis service to
carriers under the FINMAR 360 initiative. Additionally we process FINEX Global claims files to provide risk management
insight, loss analysis and claims benchmarking, and research company financial information on FINEX Global clients.

Key Responsibilities will include:

* Analysis of FINEX Global claims files to extract relevant data fields;

* Population of claims database;

* Classification of claims by loss event, line of business, etc;

* Creation of narrative describing the events leading to the loss event and subsequent progress of the claim;

* Peer review of data records created by fellow paralegals, data researchers & profilers.

The successful candidate will have:

* Ability to work under pressure, within tight time frames;

* Ability to focus and meet deadlines;

* Ability to read and understand legal documents such as loss adjusters' reports, writs and lawsuits, court
judgements, etc;

* Strong attention to detail with high level focus on quality;

* Demonstrably high standard of written and spoken English;

* High level of IT literacy, including MS Office applications.

Though not essential the following will be considered an advantage:
Experience of insurance documentation/terminology;
Language skills, particularly Spanish or Italian.
