and abroad.

Capita's Test Architect ensures that testing across all the project Teams is performed in a consistent way, that any
project is coherent from a testing perspective and meets the desired testing quality standards. The role provides the
test architectural 'glue' that ensures holistic end to end testing is performed across the project.

Key Responsibilities:
Ensures that all appropriate testing is carried out and accountable for the accuracy and robustness of the overall
solution in the live operating environment.
Provides information on the overall project solution as fit for deployment into the production environment
Interfaces with the User Acceptance Test process
Agrees and controls the cross project test architecture
Plans and manages delivery of the layer 2 testing stories
Determining the test environments and test data requirements for projects. Coordinating with the Test Leads to ensure
timely delivery of environments and data.
Determining and co-ordinating each team's testing approaches to ensure testing within team and across the project is
effective
Identifying and owning cross team testing architecture and other testing based risks and issues, escalating to the Test
Manager and/or Project Manager as appropriate
Managing technical aspects of the transition of the solution into live use
Resolving testing related differences between technical team members

End of sprint report on adherence and variances the approach.

The Test Architect will be required to have a strong knowledge of Test Design and methodologies as well as an excellent
techical knowledge, particularly Microsoft technologies. The ideal candidate will posess strong knowledge of Test
Approaches, with particular interest in Exploratory Testing and can prove they have worked significantly within an Agile
environment. Test Design and Test negotiation and planning skills are essential to the role.
