Project Manager Position Description:

The Consumer Technology Team is responsible for the delivery of Autotrader, the largest Motoring website in Europe with
over 10 million unique users each month consuming over 700 million page impressions.

A key member of the Sell Delivery Team, the Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, resource allocation,
progress monitoring/reporting and delivery of multiple agile software development projects for Autotrader.

The Project Manager is ultimately responsible for the success or failure of the projects they are managing. In addition
to project planning the role will also cover some business analysis activities and pre project work as well as providing
assistance to the programme team.

The Project Manager is responsible for:

* Providing direction to the delivery team at stand-ups; cascading priorities and highlighting key dependencies/risks

* Ensuring that the business objectives of the project are clearly understood by the development team

* Owning and resolving issues that are blocking/slowing development

* Leading inceptions, estimation sessions and showcases

* Facilitating team retrospectives and driving forward suggestions for process improvement

* Planning projects, allocating resources and reporting project's progress against the plan

* Providing stakeholders with a range of delivery options and solutions to align with budget or time constraints

* Identifying inter-project dependencies and liaising with other project/programme managers to mitigate risk

* Providing a consultancy function to the business on project and pre-project activities

* Engage with Operations to manage the release schedule and provide operational support for live incidents

* Owning the relationship with third party contractors (where required) to ensure that projects are adequately and
appropriately resourced

Project Manager Required Experience:

The Project Manager will need to demonstrate skills and relevant experience in order to:

* Become a trusted partner to business stakeholders

* Understand business objectives and be able to prioritise key 'value-related stories so as to maximise return on
investment

* Instinctively recognise inter-project dependencies and mitigate the risk they pose

* Use recognised Project Management techniques to forecast project costs and timescales for delivery

* Operate in line with the TMG Product Development process

* Be articulate and able to explain technical issues in 'business language'

* Adapt their style to fit different situations and Stakeholders

* Work to deadlines and manage their own time

* Be able to multi-task and will be responsive to change

Project Manager Salary & Benefits:

* We offer a competitive salary of up to 50,000, Dependent on experience.

* Other benefits include 25 days annual leave, a company pension and life assurance.

Location Description:

* This role is based in our office in Newton-le-Willows which is easily commutable from most locations in the North
West.
