An established, global brand name and Manufacturing innovators requires a Financial Accountant to join its Finance function based in the Liverpool area. Worldwide market-leaders in their sector, the business is dynamic and continually growing. Responsibilities of this role include: bank reconciliation supervision supervise the weekly bank reconciliation and clear the outstanding differences; VAT return preparation of VAT return for submission to Group and the reconciliation of VAT control accounts; intrastat and EU sales list preparation and submission to HMRC. Preparation of weekly cash flow and assist with the construction of longer term cash forecast model. Assist with the compilation of the month end management accounts files to include accounts, reconciliations, journals, backing information etc. The successful candidate will likely be a high achiever within an accounting Practice of any size. This could potentially be the move out of Practice, or equally somebody Practice trained with industry experience would also be well suited. An industry trained CIMA with Financial Accounting experience would also be desirable.
