What are the key accountabilities of this role?

* Input into the [contact details removed] Global Payments non-functional testing roadmap (5%)
Refine current operating model

* Build the non-functional horizontal

* Define direction, training, tooling, identify/capture current weaknesses and remediate
Definition and Assurance of Programme/Project non-functional test strategies (20%)

* Input into non-functional design on Programmes/Projects (part of Test Architecture & Governance (TAG) function

* Responsibility for ensuring all non-functional testing workstreams work within the testing framework set out in the
non-functional test strategy/policy
Direction of the non-functional test phases/workstreams through the testing SDLC (40%)

* Oversee/drive Test Planning, Mobilisation, Preparation, Execution, Closure

* Direct the management of all project non-functional test artefacts/deliverables, including: Plans, Test Schedules,
RAIDS, Artefacts/outputs

* Review/sign off the key project testing artefacts (Test Approaches, Closure Memo's)
Testing Programme/Project Control (30%)

* Financial - definition of testing cost projections (cost model) and tracking thereof
SDLC/Governance - ensure testing compliance to Barclays defined governance processes
Reporting and metrics - ensure stakeholder requirements are included in the standard test reporting metrics, ensure
metrics are accurate, timely and correctly targeted at their respective audiences

* Maturing and leverage of testing shared services and the development of the non-functional SDLC (5%)

* Positive contribution to the wider BarCorp testing shared services/enablers

* Positive contribution to embed non-functional testing within the standard SDLC, and ensure that the appropriate
templates, guidance materials, governance gates and standardised measurement is in place

What do you need to be successful in this role?
Essential

* Experience of the financial sector, specifically Global Payments

* Extensive knowledge of Failover, Resilience and Disaster Recovery testing on large scale, complex, integrated
environments

* Extensive knowledge of non-functional approaches, techniques and testing tools

* Extensive knowledge of test data management tools/techniques and solutions

Preferred
Experience of Fundtech and Polaris developed Payments processing applications (Global Payments Plus, Funds Control)

Certification: ISEB/ISTQB/Prince 2/ITIL (practitioner level)
