allows time for the doctor to build a relationship with the patient. In a typical day you would see just 7 patients.
Not sure what Health Screening is?
You may know what Health Screening already - they are sometimes referred to as Insurance Medicals. Health Screening can
be described as an extensive medical check-up determining the impact of a patient's lifestyle on their health. A typical
screen will look at BMI, ECG readings, blood & urine samples, cervical smears etc. There are different types of screens
available for patients of different ages or for those with pre-determined conditions.
Who Provides Health Screens?
Well, some of the biggest health providers in the UK provide Health Screening services. Luckily we supply almost all of
them so can offer you a huge choice of opportunities.
When can I do Health Screening?
You would do Health Screening in the same way as your regular GP or Hospital locums. Sessions are usually 9-5 (but
sometimes we have half days too) and we have bookings once per week, 5 days per week and beyond. It's really quite
flexible.
