Debt Recovery Assistant

Debt Recovery Assistant wanted for rewarding opportunity with an award winning firm of Solicitors at their offices in the heart of Leeds city centre. Salary up to 16k.

My client is seeking to recruit a Debt recovery Assistant to join their busy Debt Recovery Unit. The role involves providing an efficient and effective administrative support to the team as a whole.

The primary purpose of the role will be to assist with the recovery of outstanding debts on behalf of business clients, negotiating payment plans and working to collection targets. The post holder will be involved in all pre-legal negotiations and actions, through to the issuing of legal proceedings.

This is a 'hands-on' role that requires good organisational skills, first class communication and a strong team ethic. It will involve a considerable amount of administration as well as regular contact with business clients.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Debt Recovery documents and procedures (having gained some experience within a similar position). You will have proven IT skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and prior experience of using a case management system.
