Class Teacher/Foundation Stage Leader, Croydon - September Start
A friendly infant's school in Croydon, Greater London, will be appointing an outstanding, enthusiastic teacher to lead their foundation stage which consists of a nursery and three reception classes.
The school is searching for an outstanding, creative, energetic classroom practitioner with a sense of humour. Applicants must have the creativity to inspire both children and adults and work as part of a team.
The successful teacher will have a clear knowledge and understanding of the foundation stage curriculum, with experience to include curriculum development, planning, assessment, and monitoring and recording progress for children ages 3-8 years.
To apply for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Qualified to teach primary aged pupils (PGGE in primary education, Bachelor of Primary Education, or equivalent)
- Familiar with teaching the UK Curriculum
- Valid references, CRB/police checks
Successful applicants will need to possess the following skills:
- Highly organised with excellent preparation
- Outstanding teaching and interpersonal skills
- Positive and creative approach to teaching
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication skills with pupils, staff and parents
