The Company:

One of the UK's leading organisations who have manufacturing and engineering facilities across the globe are looking for a number of Process Engineers on a contractual basis to join their successful team. Their products and services are sold across the world to a wide range of advanced technology industries.

Role:

As a Process Engineer you will be required to provide process engineering design and support for the development of Processes, Production, Projects, Safety and Environmental work. You will identify and evaluate existing, and propose new systems to meet business needs whilst ensuring the systems of documentation, training and communications are maintained.

Key duties will include:
Project Work
*Assist in the development of scope; equipment, specification and purchase.
*Support Project engineer/manager on projects.
*Assist in the generation of Feasibility, justification, CAPEX and commissioning.

Production Support
*Having a fundamental understanding of the physics and chemistry of catalyst production.
*Documenting plant and procedures.
*Understanding and improving the unit operations of the business.

EHS Support
*Energy, environmental and health aspects.
*Management of change and risk assessments etc.
*Hazops.

Innovation
*Maintaining awareness of industry innovations and regulations.
*Maintaining awareness of our client's practices and operations.
*New process introduction and technology transfer.

Successful candidate:

To be successful in the role of Process Engineer you must be a chemical engineer BSc certified and ideally possess an IChemE chartership. You must also have experience in the design of experimental plans and have experience working with Microsoft office and Engineering software.

You must also have significant hands on experience of high volume manufacturing; batch or continuous, and experience of handling solids, liquids and low pressure gas transfers for accuracy and reliability.

Location:

This position is commutable from Hertfordshire, Cambridge, Milton Keynes, Bedford, St Albans, Chelmsford, Essex, Royston and Sudbury.
