Position: PHP Developer
Location: Surrey

Ref: [contact details removed] Our client is currently seeking an experienced PHP Developer to join the team.
The company based in Surrey develop, update & support e-commerce websites developed in Magento. Magento itself is an open
source PHP environment that uses the Zend framework. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to increase the size of
the team.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing industry-leading e-commerce websites. Specifically,
you will be working in a team to develop, extend and support e-commerce websites. The client conforms to best practice
industry standard software house practices, including specification and design, structured development, workflow
applications, version control, security, quality assurance and "lite" project management. They operate a collaborative
working environment, with regular weekly team technical and project meetings.
You'll be working in small teams to create leading edge e-commerce websites which are built with Magento. You'll love
working with clients and be passionate about creating usable sites, that look great and sell lots! You will have a keen
sense of project discipline, a commitment to getting things done on time and on budget, good written and verbal
communication skills (there will be client contact) and a willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Experience
To be considered for the role of senior PHP Developer you will need the following skills with experience at a commercial
level
- PHP5
- CSS
- JavaScript, particularly jQuery
Although not essential, experience of using Magento, Zend Framework, MySQL or XML would be a distinct advantage to your
application.

Due to the office location, candidates must have a driving licence and their own transport.
