We have a contract opportunity for a CAD Designer Draughtsman using Inventor.
You will have at least 5 years experience. You will be draughting new products and updating of existing drawings. You will also create/update Bills of Materials and Assembly Routes/Procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Production, amendment and control of Engineering Drawings and Specifications for all products including mechanical design of new products and maintenance of drawings of existing products.
* Assist with implementation and documentation of design and development projects
* Ensure that all drawings and specifications identify any applicable health and safety requirements
* Control distribution and amendment of drawings and specifications
* Control the production of Bills of Material, Assembly Routes/Procedures in a timely manner
* Keep standards for drawings and materials up to date
* Liaise with production, procurement and sales staff to understand needs regarding drawings, specifications and Bills of Material, etc.
Commutable from London and surrounding areas.
You will need to be a British National as the much of the work is MOD and Defense applications.
Commutable from South London, North Kent, East Surrey, North Sussex, including, Gatwick, Sevenoaks, Croydon, Dartford , Bromley, Sutton, Epsom and Redhill.
