Surface Grinder - Tool room - 11 to 13 an hour
Successful and well established contract tool room based in Birmingham require a versatile individual to work on a
variety of machines and tasks. Main duties will include surface grinding, polishing and some fitting/assembly work, but
there is also the opportunity to work in other areas including wire erosion and die sinking.
Candidates must have good grinding experience and be an all round 'hands on' person, willing to take on other tasks when
required. Any CNC experience would be useful but not essential.
The company has a very low turnover of staff and believes strongly in investment and training. There will be plenty of
opportunity to learn new skills (including CNC programming) and progress within the company.
Basic salary is 11.00 to 13.00 per hour (negotiable and dependent upon experience) plus paid overtime.
Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8.00am till 4.30pm, Friday 8.00am till 1.00pm.
