Service Delivery Leader
Location: Bedford
Salary: 28,000 - 33,000

One Technical Services provide technical expertise to Capita One customers and to the Capita One business. This position
has been created to lead the service delivery of all the activities that make up One 'internal technical support'. The
post holder will lead a virtual team of analysts and specialists assigned to the service for fixed periods. Fundamental
to the role of leader is effective resource management, commercial acumen and technical competency.
The Service Delivery Leader will have the responsibility to ensure that service levels are met and that customers receive
a timely response to their requests.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide technical services to the Capita One business.
* Plan and manage the deployment testing process in conjunction with the release manager and the technical product
manager
* Plan and manage the Capita One internal environments (other than development and Test) such as Service Desk, S&M,
Bespoke, Technical Services, Knowledge Specialists' images, Whiteroom and Hosted UAT etc....
* Manage and maintain the Capita One internal systems such as Sharepoint, VMWare and CMDB.
* To research and develop alternative technologies and infrastructure capabilities which could provide benefits and
improvements in the delivery and deployment of the One application
* Work with the wider business sections such as Development, Solutions and Sales to provide sound technical advice and
guidance toward the continual improvement of our products and services.
* Coaching and mentoring of individual team members. Ensuring you continually develop and improve both own and
individual's knowledge, skills and behaviours to help maximise performance 8 To maintain a professional attitude and
stay customer focused at all times 9
* Be a Subject matter expert on a key technologies
* To plan, lead and partake in specified technical and operational projects.
* Work towards Key Performance Indicators (KPI) as set out by the Head of Technical Services and demonstrate an
understanding of how you will achieve these in your 1-1 meetings and monthly reviews.
* Others tasks set out by the business or Head of Technical Services
Essential skills and experience
* Previous proven successful Technical Services specialist delivery.
* Proven people skills for building relationships with colleagues and customers at all levels
* Ability to coach and mentor individuals.
* Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills including questioning for clarification and establishing of facts,
observation and active listening.
* Experience of report writing and gathering performance information for reporting and forecasting
Desirable skills and experience
* Knowledge of the Capita Children's Service software (SIMS, ONE etc..)
* Thinks through how existing processes and offerings can be improved or enhanced.
