Our client began to trade in car parts in 1978 operating from one branch in Willesden, North London. Today it is the largest UK distributor of parts for all makes of car and light commercial vehicles with 103 branches operating in all major cities across England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland.

In October 2011, the world`s largest supplier of aftermarket collision repair and recycled parts acquired our client`s company as their first entry in the UK market with plans for expansion into continental Europe.

They currently employ more than 4,000 Team Members in the UK while their parent company employs more than 16,000 employees in more than 430 facilities in Canada, United Kingdom, Mexico and Central America with a turnover in excess of $ 4 billion . The role:

To run an efficient warehouse minimising the risk of stock loss while maintaining a safe working environment & management of dispatch, company vans and customer delivery services.

Personal Attributes
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- High degree of IT literacy
- Ability to communicate to all levels of staff and the experience to translate this
communication between parties when and where necessary
- Excellent numeracy skills proven by past performance in a practical environment

Professional Requirements

- Man-management responsibility and experience
- Understanding of personal and professional development of staff
- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operation
- Previous experience of managing a goods inwards operation
- Strong understanding of the automotive parts industry
- Excellent customer service and experience of customer facing environment to allow
suitable interaction with the customer
- Operational management experience advantageous
- Business awareness and the ability to understand the impact and ramifications of the
warehouse and logistics operation on the successful management of the branch as a
whole

Market leading salary package
Hours: They are looking for candidates who are flexible to work both days or nights.
