My client has a requirement for an experienced Financial Analyst to join their Thermal and Renewable Generation Division
(TRD) based in their Brighton Office. TRD focuses on project development, feasibility studies and due diligence largely
on behalf of developers and lenders / potential investors in power projects around the world. Development opportunities
into project management and business development.
Candidate Specification
Essential academic, professional qualifications and experience:
A Qualified Accountant / Financial Analyst with experience in the energy industry and consultancy.
Essential competencies / skills:
a)Analytical,
b)Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel,
c)Good report writing,
d)Excellent communication skills
Job Description
The role will be as a key member of the Finance and Economics Team within the Thermal and Renewable Generation Division -
a team of specialists in financial and strategic analysis, policy advisory and economics, with a particular interest in
energy. The position will be supporting a number of projects with management roles being introduced over time.
The main duties will include :-
Development and review of financial models
Investment appraisal
Advice on financing of projects
Advice on project accounting
Procurement and Tender Evaluation
Contract Review
Project management
Some international travel may be required.
