My client a leading Blue Chip based in Luton is currently seeking and Interim Financial Controller. My client is seeking
a talented ACA or ACCA with strong technical accounting, knowledge of IFRS and previous experience of managing financial
accounting teams. The department provides an effective Financial Accounting service to a key division of this FTSE listed
organisation. Key responsibilities will include: lead the financial accounting process including managing, reviewing and
challenging balance sheet - reconciliationEURs and journals; driving change and process improvement; ownership of
balance sheet control; lead on any technical accounting issues; ensure appropriate application of relevant accounting
policies under IFRS. The ideal applicant will be someone from a strong technical accounting / financial control
background who is looking for a challenging contract within a large organisation that could lead to a permanent role
after 12 months. Alternatively a seasoned interim with strong recent financial accounting / balance sheet control
contracts will also be a strong match. Individuals interested in this role should thrive on change and challenge and be
