Transmission Design Engineer/Access Networks/Microwave/HLD

A fantastic opportunity as come up for a Transmission Design Engineer to work for a leading telecoms to produce technical designs, documentation and planning guidelines for introduction of new equipment, features, functionality into the customers' Access network.

As a Transmission Design Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
-Advise customers on transformation of access transmission networks from legacy PDH/ATM transmission to Ethernet transport technologies.
-Perform high level and detailed design documents
-Test of solution designs in the customer test network environment
-Capacity planning, modelling, analysis and performance reporting of network elements.

As a Transmission Design Engineer, you MUST have the following technical skills:
-Excellent knowledge and experience in design/planning/deployment of IP/Ethernet transport solutions as used in mobile operator networks.
-Strong working knowledge of transmission technologies used in 2G/3G mobile operator networks-microwave radio, SDH,ATM.
-Design experience of LTE.
-Excellent knowledge of Microwave radio networks wit design/planning experience of modern Ethernet capable Microwave, such as Ericsson Minilink TN, Ceragon IP10/640, NSN, SIAE.
