The Company:
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and dedicated IT Professional to join their I.T. Customer support
team. The role involves both telephone and field based support of their unique telephony systems.
The position:
The Support desk administrator will have the following duties:
Customer contact/liaison for 1st / 2nd line fault reporting and diagnostics using remote access and occasional 3rd line
support at client site.
Fault resolution or escalation of customer issues
Allocation of customer issue to the support team (4 engineers) and tracking of status and resolution
Project management and logistical planning for new installations and upgrades
Skills required:
You will need to work as part of a small team, using excellent telephone communication and customer interface skills.
This interesting and varied role requires the ability to problem solve, be organised and able to work under pressure.
You should have a strong background in Microsoft Networks and operating systems including: Microsoft Exchange Server,
Windows NT, Windows 2000 Pro and Server, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 & 2008, Windows 7, Active Directory, Microsoft
Office, SQL Server Databases. Any previous experience working with Telephony systems would be beneficial.
You will be trained in their range of products and become involved in its support, installation and maintenance on
customer sites.
