An opportunity has arisen to join a top class Semiconductor company as a Design Engineer. This role offers you the
opportunity to play a significant part in the design of technically exciting and challenging connected devices for the
consumer market.
Primary Responsibilities
Design and development of electronic products for the worldwide consumer electronics market, including:
- Electronic board design with EDA tools
- Component evaluation and selection
- Schematic entry & PCB layout
- Prototype testing and debug
- Fault diagnosis
- System qualification, field and approvals testing
- Introduction of product to mass production
Required Skills
- At least 3 years' experience of electronic or audio-visual product design
- Experience developing IP connected products or imaging devices
- Excellent board-level electronics design skills
- Familiarity with standard test equipment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management
- A keen interest in technology
