We require at our Tewkesbury site, a Production Engineer (Milling) will responsibilities to include the programming of NPI, program improvements and process planning.

Role will include :

Programming of new products for both the Aerospace and Defence Industries.

Designing and programming of fixturing and work-holding with generation of engineering drawings as required.

Production improvements to increase reliability and decrease cycle times.

Specifying tooling requirements and liaising with procurement and tooling suppliers to ensure all tolling is available for production requirements.

Contributing to the maintenance of tooling lists and databases.

Aiding the collation of data for Customer Quotations.

Supporting the Shop Floor Prove Out as required to help achieve lead time and technical demands.

The ideal candidate will have completed an Apprenticeship and achieved a HNC or higher qualification in manufacturing or similar. Candidates must have a wide experience in 4-axis horizontal and vertical machine programming, with turning programming experience preferred. Candidates should be able to demonstrate use of the Alphacam programming system and should have an understanding and experience of Aerospace prismatic machining and programming.

Training in LEAN techniques and skills and 5S strategy will be given.
