Our client is Europe's largest specialist nutrition company and is the market leader in the UK; specialising in the
delivery of advanced medical nutrition for the very young, the old and the sick. They supply high quality feeds, systems
and support services to patients and health care professionals.

An exciting opportunity has now arisen for an experience Engineering Technician to join their team at the Liverpool
plant.

The role is currently on 2 shifts working to install, repair, inspect, calibrate and overhaul plant machinery both
electrically and mechanically to ensure continuous production and continuous improvements within the plant and
facilities.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have a strong mechanical background, are
qualified to HNC level in electrical-bias engineering and have considerable experience in this field.

Candidates will have significant experience in a FMCG food or pharmaceutical packaging environment and will have
excellent knowledge of PLC controlled electro/pneumatic systems with a proven ability to interpret circuit and logic
diagrams. A strong continuous improvement background, with excellent knowledge of CI tools and techniques, is also
important for this role.

As well as the ability to organise their own workload effectively and independently, candidates will need to have
excellent coaching skills in order to mentor and develop team skills; leading on maintenance activities and maintaining
responsibility for issues through to completion. They will have a proven ability to use technical knowledge and ingenuity
when solving problems to maintain operational efficiency.

The role covers a 2 shift system (alternating weeks): 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10/11pm (Mon-Thurs), 2pm - 6pm (Fridays)
