Due to growth and expansion a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commissioning Engineer to join the team of a British Manufacturing / Engineering Company based in Coventry. In return you will receive a salary of 26,000 - 30,000 pa plus pension and healthcare etc.

As a Commissioning Engineer your role will involve:
- Functional Testing of the machine tool to customer specifications
- Machine operation training
- Machine maintenance training
- Machine demonstrations
- After Sales support
- Installation and commissioning at site


The ideal Commissioning Engineer will have the following skills and experiences:
- Have a solid machine tool background - preferably in grinding type machine tools
- Have understanding and practical working knowledge of CNC machine tools
- Knowledge of the application and use of CNC grinding machine tools
- Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical drawings
- Experience of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic/hydraulic fault finding
- Siemens systems and drives
- NC programming experience
- Experience of Modern abrasives and grinding methods
- Must be able to travel overseas for up to 2 week periods
