The Company
Our client is a leader in thermal processing with a diverse client base spanning across aerospace, defence and energy sectors. The services provided are a vital part of the manufacturing process within both a local and international customer base. Due to an internal promotion to another division there is an opening for an experienced Account Manager / Business Development Manager.

The Role
The Purpose and remit of the Account Manager role:-
* This role supports the Heat Treatment services division of the business
* Manage existing accounts
* Maximise sales opportunities within the existing accounts
* Cross sell other business opportunities within the existing accounts
* Identify new business opportunities in the Birmingham/Midlands territory.

The Candidate
The Account Manager experience and qualifications required:-
* Experience of selling into the manufacturing or automotive or industrial sectors
* Metallurgical or metallurgy experience and ideally heat treatment services experience
* Team player, this role involves extensive interaction with operational colleagues at the plant
* Proven track record of success in sales in a similar or relevant field, selling services to manufacturing, automotive or general industrial companies
* Good work ethic and the drive to succeed

The Reward
In return, the Account Manager / Business Development Manager will receive an excellent remuneration package including a base salary of up to 35k plus 15% bonus, benefits including company car, healthcare, pension and 25 days holiday. There are unlimited opportunities for career progression.
