We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Senior Management Team. This is a good time to be joining us as we are a fresh team from a diverse background looking to take the business forward. We specialise in providing Domiciliary Care (Home Care) nationally and are going through some pretty exciting times. Care is a rapidly growing market in the UK with current spends estimated at over £12 Billion per annum. The market is predicted to grow even more in the next 5 -10 years, as the UK is faced with an aging population and government policy requires that people will be cared for in their own homes. So your role with us as Business Development Manager is key in ensuring our profile is prominent in the market place.
Job Purpose
To generate sales revenue (in line with agreed targets) within the Midlands area, primarily through both successful contracting activity and the winning of new business. As our Business Development Manager you will have the accountability to provide targeted and relevant commercial and market data to all branches within the Midlands Area. You will also lead a productive business development relationships with key influencers, purchasers of care and referrers across the area, generating sales revenue in line with agreed targets.
You will deliver new business opportunities on time and to target and lead and secure contractual tender wins across the area, managing the bid manager for the Midlands area, including presenting and leading purchaser meetings.
A key part of the role of Business Development Manager is to review, understand and maintain a view of the care market within each area and more locally at Branch level, shaping local business plans to help grow business.
This is a field based role and will report directly to the Operations Director of the company. You will have a proven track record in a Business Development/Commercial Manager role able to demonstrate past results and achievements and be willing to be flexible where you can work from.
