Engineering Project Manager
Harlesden - 52,000
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Harlesden team as Engineering Project Manager. Reporting to the
Site Engineering Manager you will manage the capital programme and spend for the site to meet business growth, efficiency
and replacement requirements, with responsibility to implement all standards, procedures, terms and conditions and
appropriate legislation relating to engineering projects at the site. Working with Functional and Cross Functional peers
the Project manager will implement the site strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure the site maintains maximum effectiveness and benefit from existing site technology, whilst delivering a
continuous cost release programme through the implementation of well-developed capital efficiency projects.
* Working cross functionally to ensure that the Site Project Engineering function works within an integrated
manufacturing team to facilitate delivery of lean manufacturing
* Implement concepts and strategies for introducing new manufacturing methodologies and technology to satisfy future
business needs.
* Responsible for identifying future skill requirements for Project Engineering and implementing a plan to satisfy
current and future demands.
* Responsible for adopting a structured and systematic approach to capital procurement projects ensuring specified
equipment is installed on time, within budget and delivering the expected success criteria.
* Manage site-based high performance culture, which encourages innovation and continuous improvement in a controlled
environment for all capital investments.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proven track record managing major capital projects.
* Experience managing a project department
* Experience managing multiple projects
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Experience of leading change management projects
* Maintenance Management experience
* Coaching skills
* Experience using in design, scope and installation of projects
