Our client is a law firm with offices in London and the Home Counties. The firm is going through a period of rapid expansion and is now seeking a Desktop Support Analyst with at least three years experience working in the legal sector to join its team based in Central London.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure all Helpdesk calls are dealt with efficiently, effectively and in a professional manner by providing 1st and 2nd line support. The IT Team consists of eleven staff split between London and Oxford and is headed by the IT Manager. This role is reporting to the IT Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Ensuring all support calls to the IT Helpdesk are answered within the agreed service levels and making sure users are kept informed of progress.
Monitoring the status of outstanding calls and following up where necessary.
Ensuring sufficient information is relayed to the Helpdesk to enable the creation of a knowledge base within the IT department.
Performing daily system checks as required.
General troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades and new installs.
Ensuring that all documentation regarding support and Helpdesk are updated regularly and are accurate.
Performing proactive project work and assisting with IT projects.
You will need experience of applications used within the legal environment such as Laserforms , Bighand,Worksite as well as generic skills in MS Office.
