WebSphere Application Server Administrator (WAS) - eCommerce, WebSphere Commerce:

This is a role working for a software house responsible for the delivery and support of a large number of high profile
eCommerce/J2EE/.Net applications.

We are looking for individuals who have some experience in this arena and are looking to expand their technical ability
to make their mark in a diverse and expanding team.

The challenges you will face include supporting some of the most visited websites in the UK and implementing solutions to
help improve their operations.

Role:

Candidates will be working in a growing team of technical experts looking at all aspects of build, deploy, develop and
support of business as usual operations across both projects & supported accounts.

They should be able to fully support production systems as part of our 3rd line technical support team.

Experience Requirements:

Ideally the successful candidate will have a good understanding of the architecture and issues about operating solutions
in a web multi-tiered environment and have knowledge across the majority of the following:

IBM WebSphere Commerce
UNIX flavours, AIX, Linux, Windows
Scripting
SQL knowledge
Oracle or IBM DB2 Databases
Installation/Build of software applications
Exposure to Java applications
IBM Http WebServer or Windows IIS
IBM WebSphere Application Server, Tomcat

We would expect the candidate to have had experience in Scripting on one of the operating systems mentioned above as well
as exposure to either DB2 or Oracle and have actively supported a web multi-tiered system of some technology.
