KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Maintain accurate goods inwards booking-in procedures, including checking quality and quantity at the point of delivery
and ensuring all goods are easily identifiable.
* Responsibility for storage and control of all components and materials prior to manufacture, ensuring the Shelf storage
areas are kept clean and tidy with all items being clearly labelled.
* Kitting allocation of components and materials in readiness for production in accordance with scheduling estimates.
* Ensure returned goods procedure is fully adhered to and work closely with the Service and Sales Engineers to maintain /
enforce.
* Ensure suppliers adhere to the purchasing policy in relation to the methods of delivery, packaging and pallets.
* Control of material to be returned to Supplier.
* Control of Packing of Machines in readiness for Despatch
* Control of Despatch paperwork.
* To pack equipment in conjunction with known consignor cargo regulations. Prior to starting in the role must have known
consignor cargo approval.
* Supervision of Operations Inventory stock takes.
* Maintain accuracy of Lakeview stock control
* To ensure that the kanban production line facility is fully stocked on a daily basis.
* To ensure tidiness of the Goods In, Stores area and Yard.
* To co-ordinate collection of waste skips is maintained.
* Co-ordinating receipt of packing cases to enable timely despatch.
* Packing of machines into bespoke packing cases.
* Packing of consumables / spares with machines as requested on Sales Order and Lakeview
* Co-ordinate with customer's couriers to confirm collection times.
* Loading of crated items onto transport vehicle.
* Close Works Order & despatch Sales Order on MRP system once the machine is shipped.
* Update FMS after machine shipped.
* To deputise for other colleagues within Operations where necessary.
* To be fully conversant with all HS&E procedures and to implement and comply with them. To report any non-conformance
through the agreed procedure. To assist the company in meeting its HS&E objectives.
* Ensure department is aware of, and complying with, all Quality Assurance procedures at all times. Department objective
of production being right first time.
* Promote the department by enforcing and maintaining a clean and tidy work area, ready to accept internal and external
visitors at any time.
* Any other reasonable duties as instructed by the Line Manager.
