The Role
Reporting to the Care and Group Applications Support Manager, you will be assisting the Support team in delivering high
quality financial systems support to the users of our core business applications software. Your responsibilities will
include:
* Monitoring our service desk application for incidents, then resolving or referring them to application support
specialists.
* Undertaking systems administration of our core finance applications, including testing and implementation of changes
to applications.
* Engaging with our business and operations colleagues to continuously improve our applications and processes
underpinning the service to our customers.
* Providing 2nd line application support to Anchor's Operations and Business Support teams, including monitoring of
service desk call logging software and responding to logged calls as appropriate.
* Investigating how to resolve service delivery issues and customer complaints, whilst ensuring that service
improvements are identified.
* Reporting against KPIs so that you can review monthly service information with your Manager to identify improvement
opportunities. Assisting in the implementation of agreed improvements.
* Converting business requirements into documented functional and technical specifications.
The Person:
You should have extensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of the role of a modern IS Support function including a
genuine desire to deliver outstanding customer service and a commitment to working in an environment of continuous
improvement.
You will have worked within a finance role and have developed your knowledge and skills into finance systems such as
ideally, Agresso, Coldharbour, and Service-Now. You will work closely with Anchor's Finance teams to ensure our business
applications meet their requirements in both the short and long-term.
You will be an innovative and enthusiastic individual, able to work efficiently whilst retaining attention to detail. You
will have strong problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to work as part of a team, and prioritise
and manage conflicting workloads.
